Kitchener Home Additions is a booking line. It is not a construction company and it is not a directory that sells your enquiry to a list of bidders. It connects to one local home addition contractor that handles design, drawings, engineering, permits and construction across Kitchener and the surrounding area: the century homes in Victoria Park, Cherry Park, King East and Mt. Hope-Breithaupt, the post-war bungalows in Rockway, Forest Hill, Stanley Park, Heritage Park and Centreville, the backsplits in Country Hills, Laurentian Hills and Alpine Village, the newer homes in Doon South, Huron Park, Williamsburg, Lackner Woods and Grand River South, and out to Waterloo, Baden, New Hamburg, Breslau and Petersburg.
An addition is usually the largest amount of money people spend on a house they already own. It is also the renovation where the most important constraints are invisible at the start: the zoning, the foundation, the soil, and what a conservation authority or heritage district might require. That makes it easy to sell someone a design before anyone knows whether it can be built, or a price before anyone knows what is under the ground.
The point of this site is to reach a contractor who checks what your lot allows first, gets the engineering done before promising a second storey, breaks the quote out line by line, includes the design and permit time in the schedule, and tells you plainly when an addition is the wrong answer.
What we will not do: publish reviews we do not have, invent a rating or a star count, show photos of projects that are not ours, quote a fixed price on a website, claim dealer or manufacturer status for any window, sunroom or building product, or sell your phone number to other companies. This site is new. It says what it can do and nothing more.
What the contractor handles
- Site visits, zoning review and coordinating a property survey where needed

- Three-season and four-season sunrooms
- The foundation, framing, roofing, exterior, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and interior finishing that belong inside an addition
What it does not handle
This is an additions site. New custom homes, detached garden suites and backyard units, basement finishing, and standalone kitchen or bathroom renovations are different projects and are not what this service covers. Structural engineering and land surveying are separate professions, and that work is done by people qualified for it. New home warranties through Tarion and builder licensing through the HCRA apply to new homes, not additions. Electrical work is regulated through the Electrical Safety Authority, and workplace coverage through WSIB. If what you need is a different job, you will be told that rather than sold an addition.
How this works
When you call 548-325-8351 or send the form, your details go straight to the home addition contractor's office. They arrange a visit to look at the house and the lot, check the zoning and what can be built, and talk through what you want to add. If it is buildable, they prepare the design, arrange the engineering and the permit drawings, and quote the construction in writing with the scope broken out. The work is done under their own licences and insurance. Your information is not sold, not shared with competing companies, and there is no markup added to your bill for the introduction.
What we won't do
- Publish reviews we didn't earn. When we have them, they'll be real ones with names.
- Quote a firm price before someone has seen the job.
- Send anyone into your property who we would not have in our own.
